The Samseonsan Arboretum, which opened in April 2017, is located in Jingwan-ri, Godae-myeon, Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and is a nature-experience learning center where over 1,160 species of plants grow. The arboretum was created to collect the genetic resources of plants that grow naturally in the Dangjin City area, provide visitors with a natural experience learning center through preservation and exhibition, and to be a place of rest and a tourist attraction. In addition to an outdoor garden where you can see a variety of flowers and trees, there are 10 facility zones including an exhibition greenhouse, a Kids' Dream Forest, a Korean Peninsula Small Park, an Eco Pond, Wild Grassland, and a Forest Skywalk, all this and also 23 exhibition gardens, including a rock garden, a hydrangea garden, a fruit garden, a maple tree garden, an azalea garden, a birch garden, a wind garden, etc. all offering visitors plenty to enjoy.
